The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
