TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
